BELONGING PROGRAM
Dear Parents and Carers
I am writing to invite your child to participate in the Belonging Program 2018, Cultural Day.
The Belonging Program has now been running in the East Hills School Education Group for 13 years. This program seeks to address the needs of Aboriginal students and enhance their connection to both their community and their culture. The program involves leadership skill development for secondary students and cultural awareness and mentoring activities for both primary and secondary students.
Cultural Day Wednesday 12 September
Students will be involved in numerous cultural activities throughout the day including language, kinship and song. A copy of the day's activities is included with this letter.

Venue: East Hills Public School
Time: 9:30am- 2:00pm
Please phone the school office should you require further information about the program.
Parents and carers are welcome to attend on this day, to join in the celebrations.
Permission form parents and carers was given in previous correspondence regarding the Belonging Program in June, 2018.
This program has been authorised by the Principal.
