P&C ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017
As discussed at the February meeting the 2017 AGM had to be postponed and is now rescheduled to
Monday 20 March at 9:15am
During the AGM the audited report for 2016 will be tabled and all current office bearer roles will be declared vacant. Nominations will then be called for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
All current P&C members are encouraged to attend the AGM to vote and/or nominate for vacant positions on the executive committee. The AGM is open to all parents and carers who wish to attend, however only financial members are eligible to vote and/or nominate for vacant positions. Membership is only $1.
Why join the P&C?
The P&C is run by parent volunteers. The P&C raises funds to donate to the school. Being a P&C member does not have to take up much of your time. There's no need to attend every meeting or be involved in every activity – you can give as much of your time or as little as you like. All help is welcome and valued!
Being involved in the P&C gives you a closer connection with your child's education. You will find out about what's happening in the school, get a chance to vote on how fundraising money is spent and get to have your say about issues of concern and school policies.
At the completion of the AGM the March general meeting will be held.
Fund raising events are already being planned for 2017 along with discussions regarding the re-opening of the school canteen and grant applications for classroom air-conditioning, continuation of the speech therapy program and other special projects.
Please come and support our school, together we can build our school community.
If you have any questions or concerns you would like to raise but cannot make the meeting please email the P&C at email@example.com
