A year at our school
EASTER HAT PARADE 2025
Our annual Easter Hat parade was a huge success! Lots of creative hats and happy faces. The excited prize winners of the Easter raffle took home some special treats.
K-2 SYDNEY TRAMWAY MUSEUM EXCURSION
Our K-2 students had a fantastic day at the Sydney Tramway Museum learning about transport and life from years gone by.We walked through the museum and even got to experience a tram ride through the National Park!
NAIDOC DAY 2025
East Hills Public School celebrated NAIDOC Day with a special day of activities. It was lovely to come together as a school community to honour this year's theme: "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy."
Students engaged in a variety of NAIDOC activities within their classrooms.
What a fantastic and memorable day for everyone!
EDUCATION WEEK 2025
East Hills Public School had its Open Day, celebrating 105 days of learning with students engaging in creative and mathematical thinking with activities that involved the number 105. Parents visited classrooms and attended parent workshops on PBL and reading at home. The day concluded with parent-teacher interviews. A great day that was enjoyed by all.
ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 2025

BOOK WEEK 2025
A week of wonder and excitement at EHPS as students and staff celebrated Book Week.\
PBL END OF TERM REWARD DISCO
Our PBL End of Term Reward Disco was a huge success!
Students had an amazing time dancing and singing their hearts out. Everyone enjoyed their popcorn and poppers, and thanks to the Diab family, all students were treated to a refreshing Zooper Dooper!
What a fantastic way to celebrate and reward great behaviour this term.
PICNIC AT MONASH RESERVE
To celebrate their dedication to reading at home this term, one student from each class has been recognised for reading the most nights at home! Students received a special invitation to a picnic lunch at Monash Reserve. During the picnic, students ate together, shared the books they've been reading and took time to read their books amongst nature. There was also plenty of time to play, with students enjoying kicking a ball, skipping, playing on the swings and throwing a frisbee!
RED: READ EVERY DAY
This term we're excited to see students growing their love of reading through our home reading program! Students have been tracking their reading nights using their RED: Read Every Day logs, working together to inspire a passion for literature. A huge congratulations to our K/1B and 3/4S classes for reading the most nights at home this term!
They've earned a special visit to Panania Library, where a librarian read books to them and lead a fun scavenger hunt to explore the world of books.
Well done to our young readers. Keep up the fantastic work!
EAST HILLS BOYS HIGH SCHOOL GALA DAY
Congratulations to our boys from Years 4 and 5 who joined the inagural East Hills Boys High School Gala Day.
We enjoyed a wonderful day filled with OzTag, Futsal, and Pickleball. While we did not win the day, we showed outstanding sportsmanship toward each other as well as teams from other primary schools.
A big thank you to the staff and students at East Hills Boys High School for welcoming us into their school and hosting such a wonderful day. We look forward to the next round in 2026!
'I KNOW, UNO'
Thanks to those dads and uncles who were able to attend our ‘I know, UNO’ event this morning for breakfast, a chat about the Fathering Project and games with their children. It’s always a delight to have our dads onsite and for them to meet and chat with other dads. Our students know that any day’s a good day when they can bring their dads to breakfast!
ZONE CROSS COUNTRY 2025
Congratulations to all our runners at Zone Cross Country. We had a fantastic day of friendly competition between ourselves and our neighbouring schools. The persistence and dedication of all participants was inspiring.
WOMEN OF TRUST MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST
Thanks to our wonderful mums and mother figures who attended our Women of Trust Mothers” Day breakfast on Thursday morning with their children.
They were treated to a selection of fruits, different pastry and muffin options, home made egg muffins and banana & raspberry loaf as well as a selection of coffee and teas. Each mum also received a candle gift and a written reminder that they are the shining light in their children’s lives.
PULSE ALIVE 2025
Pulse alive is a large-scale performing arts event for students from NSW public schools in Greater Sydney and beyond. The EHPS Pulse Alive dance group performed tonight at the Ken Roswell Arena at Sydney Olympic Park. You did the school so proud team! What an amazing opportunity experienced by all. Thank you to students, staff and parents/carers for making this happen. It's opportunities like these that create everlasting memories.
