A year at our school

EASTER HAT PARADE 2026

Our annual Easter Hat parade was a huge success! Lots of creative hats and happy faces. The excited prize winners of the Easter raffle took home some special treats.

K-2 SYDNEY TRAMWAY MUSEUM EXCURSION

Our K-2 students had a fantastic day at the Sydney Tramway Museum learning about transport and life from years gone by.We walked through the museum and even got to experience a tram ride through the National Park!

KOORI JARJUM 2026

Some of our lucky students attended Koori Jarjum at the 1st Nations Hub yesterday!

It was a beautiful day immersed in language, craft and music as students celebrated culture and connected with friends from schools across the community. A special thank you to Bankstown AECG for organising and leading such a meaningful day.

DISCO & DONUT DAY

What a way to celebrate the end of the term!

Our students had an absolute blast at our Disco & Donut Day! From dancing their hearts out to enjoying some delicious treats, it was smiles all around. We’re so proud of the positive choices our students continue to make every day.

Safe to say… the smiles were non-stop and the donuts didn’t last long

PYJAMA DAY 2026

Today our staff and students swapped their uniforms for comfy PJs and had an amazing day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of fun!

BOYS 2 MEN - EAST HILLS BOYS HIGH SCHOOL

The Boys 2 Men program is such a great initiative. This week the boys from East Hills Boys High School visited East Hills Public School to continue the revamp of the murals that are getting re done. The boys enjoyed some gardening, games and lots of great discussions.

AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST MORNING TEA 2026

A huge thank you to all our families and friends who joined us for our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea! It was wonderful to come together, share some delicious treats, enjoy great conversation and laughter, all while supporting cancer research. We truly couldn’t do it without your support—thank you East Hills!

KINDERGARTEN 2027 OPEN NIGHT

What a wonderful Kindergarten Open Night we had! It was great to welcome new families and provide an insight into the programs and opportunities offered at our beautiful school. We look forward to supporting your child’s learning journey and working together to create a positive, engaging school community.

PSSA SEASON 2 2026 - SOCCER

PSSA Season 2 has commenced. What an exciting afternoon for our girls and boys soccer teams! Mrs Lysaght was so proud watching all our teams play—their effort, sportsmanship, and skill on the field was just so impressive! A huge shout out to our senior boys who secured their first win today. Well done, East Hills!

PRINCIPAL'S LUNCH - TERM 2 2026

Today we celebrated our Principal’s Lunch with Mrs Lysaght!

Two students from each class were nominated by their teacher in recognition of their outstanding behaviour, positive attitude, and consistent effort throughout the term.

These students have demonstrated our school values every day, followed our school rules, and been wonderful role models for their peers. We are incredibly proud of the way they contribute to our school community.

2026 SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL

Meet our new Student Representative Council for 2026!

With 1–2 students representing each class, our SRC meet every fortnight to share ideas, discuss student voice and work together to make positive changes around our school. We are so proud of these students for stepping into leadership roles and can’t wait to see the amazing things they achieve this year!
